According to the decision made by the college management, Dr. Taghavi, the Center was started its activities as an independent division within the college organization in 1998.  During its 13 years activities, the center has gone from strength to strength and has experienced countless events and accomplished numerous goals.  

·1998    Relocation from the Soil Science Department to College Library (starting with only 4 old PCs and an even older line printer)

·1999    Renewal of hardware and increasing the number PCs to 6 and Linked to the University Computer Center via a dial up line and providing limited services to staffs and student

·2000    Increasing number of terminals to 15 and enhancing various services

·2001    Connection to the University Computer Center via a 15 Km fiber optic line in 2004 after 6 years of hard works and many efforts from numerous people in the college and the University computer center

 2004   Experiencing a devastating fire in a site

·2007    Launching the new all around home page with numerous services  

·2008    Relocating to a temporary 100 m² site and providing enhanced services (internet, print, scan, etc)

·2009    Moving to our new 300 m² state of the art site with more than 70 Terminals, a lecture room, separate sections for graduate and female students. Construction of the new building and equipping with the new facilities are among many excellent achievements which accomplished by the college present management team which is lead by Dr. Afsharifar

Center major activities:

·Provision of various services (software and hardware) to students and staffs

·Providing consultation to college management and head of departments in purchasing new hardware or software

·Surveillance, supervision and providing services to computer centers within various departments in the college (in coordination with the head of each department)

·Presenting various workshops in computer science and internet for students and staffs in order to improve their skills

·Internet service provision to staff residential area within the college compass
