Commision of the shiraz university’s center of Demographic studie
The acquisition of scientific wisdom and the precise understanding of human reality, give the power of correct perception of society’s problems. And this can lead to valid solutions, what is fundamental in acquisition of this wisdom is the choosing of a moving path, based on a theoretical frame which stands in agreement with expediency and requirements of human societies. And also it is necessary to choose the scientific tools and techniques proportional to the theoretical frame.
The shiraz university’s center of demographic studies is a center for socio- economic studies. This center was established in 1974 as one of the subdivision of research assistance department of shiraz university. Investigations ad researches about population problems in Islamic republic of Iran are attended by different organizations and are particularly important for those institution and organizations that are directly in contact with population problems. Therefore the shiraz university’s center of demographic studies also, do researches in the field demographic problems and mainly attends to malignity that comes along with out growth of population. The scientific council of this center is constituted of faculty members of shiraz university with required expertises. The top duties of these members are as follows:
1-Advising and co-operation with principal of the center for processing operational programms.
2-Communicating with other faculty members of The university, to gain their Co- operation in accomplishment of research designs and projects, submitted to the center
