The faculty of Arabic Language and Literature was established within the faculty of Persian Language and Literature in Mehr 1381. The faculty continues works as an independent department since Mehr 1386.
Every year the faculty gives admission to students for Arabic Language and Literature's BA program and currently there are 193 students studying the course. The first group of students was graduated at Bahman 1384. At the moment, the department holds 5 full-time faculty members, and 2 scholarship members.
